DNFT® Chiropractic
DNFT is the original, low force method of chiropractic that utilizes a unique system of subluxation analysis and correction.
Testing for the problematic part of the body consists of a gentle, specific challenge followed by a check of the reactive leg. This allows the body’s reaction to the test to indicate the location of the problematic areas of the spine and body that are producing nerve interference. The anatomy revealed to be the problem is then adjusted and corrected by using a low force and directionally specific thumb impulse. The goal of these adjustments is to provide long lasting alignment and balance to bony and soft tissue structures. This technique is unique because it is able to achieve these corrections without the pops and cracks that are often associated with traditional chiropractic.
DNFT is a patient oriented approach that provides maximum, long lasting relief in a swift and effective manner. Our goal is to address the problem and provide relief and healing without the need for frequent follow up visits.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. It is based on the concept of Qi (pronounced "chee"), which is believed to be the body's vital energy. Acupuncture is used to balance the flow of Qi and address various health issues.

Benefits of acupuncture may include:
-
Pain Management: Acupuncture is often used to alleviate chronic pain conditions, such as back pain, migraines, and arthritis.
-
Stress Reduction: It can help reduce stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and improving the body's natural coping mechanisms.
-
Improved Well-being: Some people experience an overall sense of well-being and increased energy following acupuncture sessions.
-
Enhanced Immune Function: Acupuncture is thought to boost the body's immune system, aiding in illness prevention.
-
Digestive Health: It can be used to address digestive problems like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and nausea.
-
Hormonal Balance: Acupuncture may help regulate hormonal imbalances and alleviate symptoms associated with conditions like menopause or menstrual disorders.
-
Allergy Relief: Some individuals find relief from allergy symptoms through acupuncture treatments.
-

Dr. Mackenzie graduated from Parker University as a Doctor of Chiropractic and valedictorian of the Class of August 2019. He is also board certified in chiropractic acupuncture. He first gained interest in Directional Non-Force Technique through watching the improvements in his mother’s life/health. Her improvement led him to become a patient and find relief from his numerous sports injuries. Dr. Sung’s desire to incorporate DNFT chiropractic along with nutrition and exercise into comprehensive, patient-centered care is rooted in the way he has witnessed holistic medicine change his health and those around him. He has been using this technique with his patients since 2019.
